The large Bodhisattva figure is depicted standing on a meticulously crafted square base. He holds his right hand in the gesture of banishing fear, his left extended along his side. She wears the ankle-length dhoti fastened around her waist with elaborate drapery and the heavier sanghati open at the front to show her bare chest. The drapery is executed with skill and naturalistic attention characteristic of the Gandhara style that dates back to the Greco-Roman sculptural influence in the region.The bust is adorned with multiple necklaces and carries prayers from the Iranian tradition.
The face with its almond-shaped eyes and moustache is framed by an elaborate hairstyle, the hair forms a chignon fastened with a precious headband, long locks fall over the shoulders enhanced by the large halo that encloses and highlights the refined face with its benevolent expression.
