Beautiful in size, a refined depiction of the salamander and a geometrically and floral engraved decoration, this hand of Fatima (the Prophet Muhammad's daughter) is also called Khamsa, five in Arabic, representing the five pillars of Islam and the five daily ritual duties, and was believed to be a powerful talisman protecting the body from the evil eye.
