Pair of model 4801 armchairs, for Kartell, 60s. Structure formed by the assembly of three elements in lacquered plywood and black rubber stop.
Colombo was a staunch defender of the unity between structure and material. The armchair n. 4801 is formed by three intertwined elements in molded plywood. The fluidity of the form of this model is a prelude to the future plastic creations of the designer.
