The character of Piuma Rossa, a young Canadian redcoat created by Mario Basari and Luigi Sorgini, made his debut in the Catholic weekly Il Giornalino in 1977. The son of a white man and an Indian and orphaned, the hero of the series had as adoptive fathers a sergeant of the Mounted Police and a sachem of the Blackfeet, who had raised him. Better than others, he could therefore offer himself as an ideal intermediary between the two peoples. 1 panel on paper

A summary panel for this author who made his debut in the pages of Il Vittorioso with the series of ‘Il cavaliere di ferro’ on texts by Quintavalle.
