A thangka depicting a past Buddha China/Tibet, 18th century
A thangka depicting one of the Buddha previous the historical one, Krakucchanda (Sans-rgyas Hkhor-ba-hjig in tibetano). The central figure sits in padmasana position and has his right hand in varadamudra and the left one in abhayamudra. In the composition other 103 smaller Buddhas, an arhat and the dharmapala Palden-lhmo in the lower register.
