Beautiful sculpture of ivory ancestor, characterized by the typical long hairstyle of the hair, the prominent eyes and the showy scarifications on the face and abdomen.
Good relationships between the volumes of the body that give particular emphasis to the head and wise is the skill with which the sculptor has been able to play and enhance the veins of ivory.
Beautiful also the glossy patina that time has been able to give to this small sculpture that contrasts with the black parts not worn.
By means of a lens it is still possible to observe grooves and incisions left by the rudimentary tool used by the sculptor.
