Also used by neighboring ethnic groups such as the Ngbandi or the Ngombe, this type of forged and engraved iron knife was used both as a weapon, both as a sign of rank during rites and ceremonies and as a currency of exchange in commercial transactions and marriage contracts.
Beautiful specimen very lived and worn, as demonstrated by its many defects and signs of use.
