The Guljaka is perhaps one of the most popular ornaments worn by Turkmen women. Used as a brooch or clasp, it is fastened around the neck to close the dress.
Probably the legacy of an ancient sun cult, guljaka are also used as amulets to attract goodwill and happiness.
Very good state of preservation.
