Lot of five labial discs of various sizes. Clay. Defects shortcomings and signs of use.
Used by Mursi women of Ethiopia and cyclically replaced with the upper measure, these terracotta plates were inserted on both the upper and lower lip to provoke the enlargement and thus become more beautiful and attractive according to the archaic aesthetic canons of this part of Africa.
